PrintComm is a national direct mail, print and integrated media firm with more than 50 years of experience across multiple industries. PrintComm was recently named the fifth fastest growing printing firm in the US by Printing Impressions magazine. Positions are available on 1st and 2nd shifts.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review daily production schedules at your local facility and monitor to ensure adherence to SLA’s.
  • Work closely with on-site partner production team to obtain quality samples from the production floor for inspection.
  • Collect samples, documents, photograph, inspect for defects and operate with a pass/fail decision process to ensure highest quality
  • Log into our QC database images and notes related to any issues identified.
  • Work with print production team to rectify any non-compliant issues.
  • Proactively find and recommend new technology, systems and processes to reduce manual or ad hoc practices to improve process variance and streamline operations.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements to improve overall quality.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and technological advancements related to print and mail quality control.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Print & mail operations experience
    • 2 years of experience working in a quality control position, preferably with commercial printers or lettershops.
    • Knowledge of printing processes, materials, and equipment is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Experience working in high performing teams
