join the printcomm IT/Variable Data team

In preparation for serving new and expanding markets, PrintComm is seeking a IT/Variable Data Associate to join our staff, full time, day shift, on site in Flint, Michigan.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Transform customer supplied data for vdp using spreadsheets, databases and mailing software.
  • Install and troubleshoot Windows & related software.
  • Diagnose and repair issues with PC workstations, servers and network infrastructure.
  • Work with BCC Mail Manager to process customer supplied data for mailing.
  • Work with PlanetPress Suite to develop vdp templates.
  • Work with PageFlex output to process images and data for variable data printing.

Necessary Skills and Abilities:

  • Experienced in manipulating data in spreadsheets and databases.
  • Understanding of data formats, image formats and conversion to print or online media.
  • Experience installing and configuring operating systems, software and hardware.
  • Ability to work with multiple deadlines and multiple priorities with little supervision.

Bonus Skills:

C#, VBScript, AWK, JavaScript, CSS, HTML. Experience working with USPS presort mailings and mail processing software.
